2020-2022 Illustrations

A collection of anime-based illustrations featuring characters in various dynamic and dramatic scenes. From intense action to intimate poses, this showcase displays where I began to take heavy inspiration from with my art. I would attempt to mimic the character and background styles of various anime that I had watched at the time, such as Balance: Unlimited, Mob Psycho 100, and One Punch Man, while also incorporating additional layers of shading and lighting to give my pieces more depth. Additionally, this is when I began to openly explore my LGBTQ+ identity online by sharing my art through Instagram (@nonexistent_jadeartz), where I gained some attention for a number of the pieces I made.
